Roof Tiles Complete

The roof tiles are complete and gutter and fascia are installed.

Tree Relocated

The tree provided by the developers at the front of our house is right in the middle of our driveway and therefore needed to be moved. Dad and I did the hard work while Dawn took the photos. A good watering in and hopefully the tree will survive.

Roof Tiles and Internal Plumbing

The Roof tilers have started on the roof. It will be good to get the roof on to help keep the timber frame dry.

Also we noticed all the internal plumbing in the house has also been done. I didn't realise that these days all the pipes are made from plastic rather than the traditional copper pipes. I guess this is to save money as plastic would be substantially cheaper that copper.

Frame Cont'd...Roof

The roof trusses are up and the house is beginning to take shape and now actually looks like a house...

Frame begins

Our timber frame has begun with the wall framing going up. These carpenters are quick, this was all put up in a day.
